The first snowflakes may fall on the mountains of the alpine crest in the morning, otherwise it will be quite sunny at first. Clouds will increase everywhere during the morning and light snowfall will spread to many mountain groups in the afternoon. Between 5 and 10 cm of snow will fall on the main ridge, while it will remain dry in the southern Dolomites.

Weather development

Friday will be changeable with a mixture of sun and cloud, with snow showers possible in places. Saturday will initially be quite sunny. Subsequently, the clouds will increase and in the night to Sunday it may snow lightly again on the main Alpine ridge. On Sunday, it will remain unsettled in the north and sunnier in the south. Monday will be mostly cloudy, with light snowfall possible again in the north of South Tyrol towards the evening.
